Last blog!

This is my last blog finallly! Today has been a not so productive day..I was planning on studying all day and that didn't work out too well instead I laid in bed and watched friends..haha a whole disk of it oops! But everyone have a good summer :) 

Finals!

yayy its finals week haha not looking forward to studying but I'm happy its SO close to summer! I'm currently trying to study right now and I hear the stanky leg playing outside for mckinley mile haha kinda funny! Its actually a nice day outsdie & I love ittt!!

Last day of English! Is this real life?

Today was the LAST day of english weirdd. I can't believe its over already, I did enjoy the class it wasn't bad i just don't like typing papers! Mr. McArdle left the class on a deep note i like the videos he played they were cool. Thank goodness that project is over with I was getting really tired writing about nuclear power! Its the season finale of vampire diaries which is THE BEST SHOW EVERRR! if you haven't seen it its soo good you should watch it or at least give it a try i got all my friends addicted. 

busy dayy

dangit i keep forgetting to blog of course what a surprise! Thank goodness this week is getting closer to the end..I'm ready  to be done with school work but I don't really wanna leave BSU! Its weird but I realized it yesterday I will miss the dorm life and having my closest friends in one building! But I will just have to visit them this summer! Almost completed with our website..its closeee thank goodness!

Happy Easter!

Today was a good easter we didn't go to church oops! but its always too crowded!Both sides of my grandparents came over & we had a nice lunch it was really good! My moms cooking is always the best so much better than dorm food! I got 10$ in an egg from my grandma and 50$ for my birthday from my other grandma so i'm not complaining! It was a good weekend at home, I always love coming home!

blog #2 of the day!

So I'm getting super excited for summer because the closer it is to summer the closer it is to when I go to the British Virgin Caribbean Islands for 15 dayssss!!! The house that were staying in is literally a dream house I thought it was a joke when I found out we were staying here! I'll show you guys some pictures!!

only a week and 2 days lefttt!

We only have a week and 2 days left of class woot woot! Who's pumped? I'm a little behind on blogging with only 25 posts when i need 32. I'm not that far away! But I've never missed a day of class that's pretty good! I can't wait till summer..I still REALLY need a job I applied at 6 places and haven't heard from anyone...thats kinda disappointing!! I had the best job the past 3 summer nannying, I made $320 a week for one kid and they lived in carmel and he was like my brother! It was a joke..but I guess its time to get a real job bluhhh!

Nuclear Power...SUX

Our topic is a pretty tough topic to write about..but our group is sticking it out! Well now that class is over with I'm going to go aqua jog for track & then shower & leave for ILL 5!! haha watch the video on youtube its named ILL 5 its the video for lil 5 this year!

Today has been stressful just like every week this past month!! I'm ready for SUMMER! I really need to catch up on my sleep! I'm going to Lil 5 tomorrow at 3 woot! I can't wait I wish I was going to a concert but of course I waited to the last minute and they're all sold out!! Glow Fest and Wiz :( saddd but oh well it'll still be a good time!!

3 weeks!!!!

Last week might have been the worst week of my life..I had SO much to do & when wednesday rolled around I was working on my paper at 9:00 and had 9 and half pages, so close to being done! I was correcting things at the top of the page  and then I'd scroll down and 4 pages were gone!! This happened several times it was the most frustrating thing of my life...tech time said my paper became corrupted? WHAT! How does that happen..anyways only 3 weeks left of school who's hyped for summer?!?!?!

Last week

Last week just continued to do our intense reviews. We finished all of them, our final draft is due Wednesday at 11 pm! The Butler games tonight go dawgs!!

dreading class..

I hate sundays they suck cause you HAVE to get everything done before Monday. But today was a pretty good day because I finally got initiated into Alpha Gamma Delta! It was exciting but yet nerve wrecking because i didn't know what was going to happen! Well thats all I have have for now..thought I'd blog a 3rd time since I always forget!

Intensive Reviews

Today we had our intense reviews. We went over Chao's paper which was over plastic surgery today. We also went over Lacie's that was over child abuse & finally Nicks that was over Liberal Arts. The 3 papers we went over were good papers  and everyone had a lot of improvements & suggestions for everyones paper. We have 6 more papers to go over for intense reviews!

Peer Reviews

I forgot to blog yesterday. I've been really sick but I'm getting a little better. Yesterday in class we read over one of Mr. McArdle's papers that he wrote his freshmen year in college. We read the introduction of his paper and pointed out the main points of his introduction. It was a pretty long introduction. After that we got into our peer review groups. Our group had a good discussion about everyone's papers. I received good advise on how to improve my paper. Hopefully everyone else in my group did to! We have intense reviews  on Thursday!

being sick sucks :(

I've been kinda sick all week after getting back from Spring Break and now I'm feeling even more sick! I feel like I just went backwards I started to feel better and then just got sick all over again!! I'm going to a formal and I don't even really wanna go cause I'm not feeling the best! I would rather just go home but I'd feel bad backing out on my date! but I hope everyone is having a good weekend & hopefully I'll start feeling better!

First week back

Well English was interesting today, I guess we all suck haha just kidding. But I got a better understanding today on how to construct my paper now. Hopefully I can improve it more and make it more smooth. The weather has been a rude awakening coming back from spring break..I just want to go back now! But Thursday will be amazing if it really is 67 degrees! Ohh yess I almost forgot I'll post the picture of the girl puking its great, you might get a kick out of it like we did!

Spring Break!!

Sb 11 was a success it was so much fun! The weather wasn't as warm as I wanted it to be but it was still better than Indiana! Panama was really fun it was pretty wild I have a lot of funny/ interesting stories. Only thing that sucks is I got my ipod touch stolen which came with my mac! Ahh soo maddd! But oh well nothing I can do. But I officially have like no money so I'm ready for summer and ready to get a job! 7 WEEKS!!!

spring breakkk!

Yess we're almost at the finish line haha spring break starts tomorrow thank goodness! I'm so mad I was so busy with packing i forgot to turn in my paper at 11:00..there goes the extra 5 points :( Did Mr. McArdle say that we had to blog over spring break? haha uhhh I thought it was break because its a BREAK. That's annoying but ohh well I guess! Hope everyone has a good break!

Almost Spring BREAKk!!

This week seems like it is never ending..I don't know about anyone else but I have been extremely busy t his entire week..just going going going non stop! I'm ready for spring break! I'm just ready to get out of Muncie and I'm ready for new scenery. I'm going to Panama, it probably won't be that warm but it'll for sure be better than here!!

March 1st yayy!

Today is March 1st and what do you know we have good weather crazyyy! Maybe mother nature will finally make up her mind? We'll see..Today I had my meeting with Mr. McArdle and it went well I have a better grade than I thought so that's always good! I'm getting there on my annotated bibliography. I'm almost done, hopefully it'll be good!

ooops

I have not been very good about blogging at all! I keep forgetting! But not going to lie having no class last thursday was nice. I have my meeting on Tuesday with Mr. McArdle. All of the feedback i got for my paper is really helpful and its always good to have more ideas to add to my paper. I think I can improve a lot of it to make it better!

Birthday weekend!

My 20th birthday was on Friday & it was a pretty good day! It started off kinda crazy, a kid in my first class fell over in his desk & passed out it was very bizarre. But I had to call 911 for him, first time I've ever made that call it was pretty intense! We only have 9 weeks left of school, I know I'm definitely counting down for summer haha. 

warm weather!

Today was once again pretty warm outside! I feel like when the weather is warm everyone is in a better mood at least I know I am. Today was an exhausting and busy day and its good to finally catch a break even though it is hard to find one. My birthday is on Friday & I'll be 20 years old which is pretty old for a freshmen! I can't believe I'm that old its crazy how fast life has passed by. That's all for today!

Chapters 10 & 11

Today we went over chapters 10 & 11, Chapter 10 was about selecting and integrating evidence. For our annotated bibliography we have to make sure that we address to the appropriate audience. Throughout our paper we obviously have to have evidence and we have to site this evidence we have to have 10-15 sources, which might be kinda tough depending on your subject. For chapter 11 we read that not so good paper, about cloning. This paper wasn't very good because the thesis statement wasn't in the correct spot. Also she didn't cite enough in her paper which is always important. Our annotated bibliography rough draft is due Saturday at 11 pm, hopefully we all get it done!

Another paper..

Yesterday we turned in our final drafts of our National Gaze papers. Mr. McArdle went over our new assignment. Our new assignment is we have to do an Annotated Bibliography and it has to include 10-15 sources. We first have to find a cultural touchstone..we have to be able to debate our subject. I have no idea what I'm going to do yet, I still haven't decided and I need to decide probably by tomorrow! We have to turn in our rough draft in by Saturday at 11:00 pm on Saturday! I need to pick a subject first!

Reviewing papers

I'm not going to lie it was nice having class once last week! On Thursday we reviewed the rest of the papers that we were supposed to look over. We ended up finishing all of the papers and we all discussed what could be improved in the papers. We also talked about our final drafts of the paper that is due on Tuesday. I'm going to go to the writing center tomorrow and get my paper checked by someone else, I hope they help me improve my paper more!

The Day after tommorrow?

Haha like my title? I decided to put that after the movie the day after tomorrow because everyone is FREAKING out about this storm coming to Muncie! I'm hoping classes will be canceled! I heard this happened 5 years ago & BSU was shut down for 8 days and they got like an inch of ice & we're supposed to get 2! But who knows these days..the weather reporters are never right! That's all for now, I'm not sure if we'll have class tomorrow but who knows!

Peer Reviews

Today in English it was peer review day, exciting...haha. I know how everyone loves writing papers like me right? We were assigned groups and we had to read over them and fill out the peer review sheets. My group and I worked well together and gave good advice on how we can improve our papers. Luckily Mr. McArdle is such a nice teacher and let us email our peer reviews after class! We also went over chapters 4 & 5 which was about citing in a paper and in text citation. We also started going over chapter 8 which talked about ethos, logos, and pathos. Then we went into our groups and went over our papers. Our group accomplished a lot and went through everyones papers. Thats all for today!

Blog #2

Today was a busy stressful day and all I wanted to do was stay in bed! But that ended up not happening. I woke and heard it was really icy out and that everyone was slipping. I was walking to class and of course I slipped but didn't fall! I felt bad watching other people fall it looked like some people actually got hurt. I heard a girl broke her leg from slipping ouch! They should have iced the side walks earlier then they did! I guess we're supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow.. oh joy! I'm SO over winter.. I'm tired of it being freezing and being pale. I'm ready for some spring weather and I'm sure you could gladly agree with me! That's all for now!

Blog 1

I'm Molly Lawless and this is my first blog. I'm new to the class today was my first day,  I wasn't here last week. I'm not so sure what to say so I'll just tell you about about myself! I'm a freshmen at Ball State pretty sure everyone is in our class. I'm from Indianapolis and I went to Cathedral High School. I have a mom dad and a sister named Megan. My sister Megan is like my best friend. She just graduated from Indiana University nursing school over break, I'm really excited for her she just got a good at Riley hospital, which is a great job! This semester I decided I would try to run track because I was a big runner in high school. I've had a week of practice so far and oh boy is it hard..its not only hard psychically but also mentally and very time consuming! So we'll see if I can make it through this semester of running, it'll be a challenge. I also just joined AGD- Alpha Gamma Delta, I'm really excited because I did fall rush and it didn't go very well. I get pinned tonight and I will officially be an AGD! So this semester will be a very busy one! It was a pretty good first day of English 104, I like our class it seems like an interesting group of people!
